Supporting EXCEPTIONAL contemporary artists
The MacAvoy Foundation supports artists producing timeless, meaningful art using masterful techniques.
Since 2023, we have been working with the Art Renewal Center to advance its goal of rewarding and promoting exceptional contemporary realist artists. In 2024, our donation of $25,000 for Best in Show for the 17th International ARC Salon was awarded to artist Pavel Sokov for his oil painting Watching the Dance.
Our additional donations have enabled the ARC to acquire other exceptional works, including: Sinisha Kashawelski’sMagna Mater, which received an honorable mention in the Imaginative Realism category in the 17th Salon; Olivera Pudar’s The Black Nocturne, James McGrew’s Comet A3 Over Yosemite; K.G. Bethmini N. Dissanayake’s The Enchanted Reader; Laurie Maddalina’s Lately I’ve Been Dressing for Revenge; Sarah Morrow’s The Way;and Blair Atherholt’sLest Ye Become, which won an honorable mention in the Still Life category in the 17th Salon.
